Opening Story:

In Mystery of the Ancients: Three Guardians, you are awakened from a frantic phone call in the middle of the night from your niece Elena, who tales a harrowing tale of how her and her boyfriend Stephen were attacked by a monstrous bear. Now Stephen has gone missing along with several other individuals from the town of Green Hill and Elena begs you to come help her find her love. Upon your arrival, you quickly take note of the black ravens stalking you and a strange feathered cloaked man seems to be trying to impede your efforts. Can you discover the secrets this mysterious man holds before it's too late?

General Tips for Mystery of the Ancients: Three Guardians

Difficulty - Three modes: Casual, Advanced, and Hardcore. In Casual Mode, the hint and skip buttons charge quickly and there are sparkles to mark areas of interest. In Advanced Mode, the hint and skip buttons take longer to recharge and there are no sparkles to mark areas of interest. In Hardcore Mode, there is no hint button or skip button and there are no sparkles to mark areas of interest.

Inventory - Your inventory can be found at the bottom of your screen. Items you collect throughout the game are found here. Hover your mouse over it to bring up the inventory bar. Click the padlock to lock it in place.

Hints - The hint button is found in the lower right hand corner of your screen. Click here if you're stuck. Just remember, the button takes time to charge before you can use it again.

Menu - The menu button is located at the bottom left-hand corner of your screen.

Magnifying Glass - When your cursor turns into a magnifying glass, it means you can zoom in and take a closer look on an area.

Hand - When your cursor turns into a hand, it means you can pick the object up and add it to your inventory or interact with an object in some way.

Gears - When your cursor turns into gears, it means you can use an object from your inventory in this area.

Navigation Arrow - When your cursor turns into an arrow, it means you can move in that direction.

Hidden Object Scenes - Hidden object scenes will sparkle. Items in yellow require an extra step to find. You can play a bubble shooting game instead of the hidden object scene if you prefer. Just click on the button in the bottom left hand corner to switch between game types.

Mini-games - During mini-games, if you can't figure out the puzzle or don't feel like trying to solve it, you can click the skip button on the right to skip the puzzle and move on. Click the Info button to get a detailed explanation on how to solve the puzzle.

Hidden Squirrels - There are 33 squirrels for you to find hidden in the game.

Map - Your map can be accessed by clicking on the map button in the lower right hand corner of your screen. Click on an area to fast travel to that location.
