I just finished playing Love Story - The Beach Cottage. This was right up my romantic alley. A sweet and endearing story about lost love. I loved the notes in the bottle Sandra kept finding. I am always sending little notes in Max's lunch box telling him how much I love him and how proud I am of him. Or encouraging him if I know he has something special going on after lunch. Of course, he has to have his teacher read them to him, so sometimes I just draw silly pictures that I know will make him laugh that he can keep private all to himself.

The story starts out with Sandra receiving a letter from her father, the curious thing about this is he passed away a month ago. It explains to her to go to their summer cottage at the beach to clear out things before deciding to sell it or not. The cottage apparently holds good and sad memories for Sandra. The object is to help her find the clues to remember the past and solve this hidden object puzzle to fulfill her fathers last wishes.
As is the norm with most hidden object games, the graphics were beautiful and engaging. The game bounces you around quite a bit looking for items, and even more so the closer you get to the end of the game. The puzzles range from simple and fun to slightly mind straining. I don't think they were as challenging as some games I have played, but I enjoyed every one of them all the same. Sometimes its nice to kick back with an easy going game like Love Story proved to be, and this would be a good game for someone trying out a hidden object game for the first time. Not a long winded game, it seem to end quickly but wrapped up the story quite nicely in the last scene. The question is does she find what she came looking for? Play the game and see for yourself.
