In Hallowed Legends - Samhain, a long estranged fiance calls out of the blue, the phone goes dead on the other end. So off you rush to the Cornwall Celtic Festival. What kind of mystery have you gotten yourself involved in. Dead guys, frozen tourists, and traveling to other worldly realms. Can you find your ex-fiance and solve the mystery in time?
Well I cannot believe Thanksgiving is a few days away. After that the holiday festivities really get going. Max is very excited. Being his first year at school he finally gets to take part in all the festivities, parties and musicals he has heard about from his cousins. For his school play he has, according to him the best part, that being a polar bear. Although, we cannot seem to convince him the polar bear has two lines and they do not include growling or attacking the girl penguins. Good luck to his teacher. It should be fun to see and I cannot wait.
I just finished playing Hallowed Legends: Samhain. Probably the longest game I have played as of yet. The story revolves around your ex-fiance Robert, who is at the Cornwall Celtic Festival. Surprisingly you get a call from him and then the line just goes dead. So off you rush to Cornwall to investigate. The investigation takes you through a now desolate festival grounds, another realm, beautiful countryside and then finally back to town. It is filled with tons of games. I had to include quite a few videos because some of the games can be very difficult. But don't let that scare you away, leave that for the dead guy at the beginning and the spooky other world Cernunnos who keeps eerily popping up throughout the game.
Use your journal a lot to get through the game. It covers many clues and guides. There is a hint button with unlimited access, you just have to wait between hints for it to reload. This game is not timed but you can earn achievements. It follows the usual hidden object game play style and you will have to return back and forth to other scenes to collect needed items and complete missions. Play the game, see what you think. Its worth playing it just to see all the beautiful scenes, but then again, I measure a lot of my enjoyment of a game based on how well the graphics are presented. This game did not let me down.
