Fruit Cut Ninja is a classic Fruit Ninja copycat that will have you slicing thrown fruit for points.
If you're a fan of slicing different fruit that's being thrown in the air, while attempting to avoid bombs, because bombs and fruit go together naturally, then you might get some enjoyment out of Fruit Cut Ninja.
It's pretty much a copycat game of the popular Fruit Ninja game, although at a much more basic setting.
The concept of the game is simple. Fruit will be thrown in the air. Use your mouse or finger to slice the fruit in half. Each fruit sliced will earn you points.
However, just to be tricky, there are also some bombs thrown in there. You need to avoid the bombs or else you will lose an umbrella, which represents the number of lives you have.
You can earn lives, by slicing the occasional umbrella that will float your way though so don't sweat a bomb burst here and there.
Fruit Cut Ninja is an unending game. It keeps throwing fruit at you until you lose all your lives. Which gets a bit boring. There's no challenges or anything else to do except slice up fruit. The game speed doesn't seem to pick up either as you progress... you just keep slicing fruit until you get tired and slip up and try slicing up a bomb.
Overall, Fruit Cut Ninja held my attention for a few minutes, and then I started looking around for something with a bit more substance. However, if you enjoy testing your slicing skills and you don't mind simply trying to beat your old score, then you may want to check it out.
