Opening Story:
In Cursed Fates: The Headless Horseman, it's New York circa 1799. Join Constable Crane (hmmm, Crane...) as he is sent from New York City to solve three beheadings, presumably by the Headless Horseman himself. Is he a demon or man in disguise? Secret marriage, new will, time will tell. As you attempt to solve the murder, both humans and the ghosts of the beheaded murder victims will make requests of you. The graves of the dead will arise on the start screen after releasing each ghost.

Inventory - Your inventory can be found at the bottom of the screen. It is not identified as such but it is rather obvious.
Combine - Above the inventory is a button for combining items. Click on Combine and 2 boxes will pop up where you can place 2 items to become one. You do not need to use this when you are combining 2 halves of an item together though.
Hints - Hints can be found in the lower right hand corner of your screen by clicking the pumpkin. Click here if you're stuck. Just remember, these take time to charge before you can use it again
Journal - Your journal does not store too many hints (observations). It is located in the bottom left. Pages regarding the Headless Horseman myth will also be placed in there as you pick them up.
Skip - During mini-games, if you are having trouble or maybe you just don't feel like solving it, you can click on the skip button.
Trophies - Trophies can be accessed directly from the playing screen by clicking on the arrow at the top of the screen. You will be notified how many horseshoes you have available and can open the Trophies screen and purchase the items.
