Question... I accepted a quest and ...

Question... I accepted a quest and I didn't realize I didn't have the recipe
its for dark chocolate infusion with pecans. I think I have to get it in the lab but i bought some of every ingredient and it tells me I can't make it yet.. Is there any way I can just say no to the mission after accepting it?
