Beautiful day this morning. How long it will last however no one knows. The weather, like my life, has been very unpredictable lately. I am feeling restless. I want to go on a long trip one minute and never leave home the next. I am going to buy a GPS and go see my girlfriend in Arizona. I have to have a GPS.I have no sense of direction. I can’t find my way out of a parking lot. Of course I will wait until the weather settles....then pack up my little dog Lulu and off we go. Maybe, we’ll see.
I played a lot of games this week but I couldn’t find one that held my attention until I saw The Serpent of Isis: Your Journey Continues. I really liked the original and this one is wonderful as well. The story line begins with a message from Professor Penroy asking you to meet him at his office. When you arrive you find the professor has been kidnapped. You overhear a conversation about the professors whereabouts and the adventure begins. I don’t think you will find any better graphics than in this game. They are spectacular. There are a lot of Mini games and puzzles to solve. Which I like. The only problem is they don’t give you any directions how to solve them, but there is a skip button if you don’t mind adding time to the game. Speaking of time, this is a long game. About 5 or 6 hours. You will really get your money’s worth. I had to turn the music off. After awhile in such a long game it started to drive me nuts! One other little complaint. Watch out for the inventory button. If you don’t get it just right the object will disappear and you will have to do it over. A good thing about the game is the maps. Be sure you check them and use them often. They will save you a lot of time.I hope you check out the trial and buy this game.
