This latest release, Secrets of the Dark: Mystery of the Ancestral Estate has us traveling to a new exotic location, the Mediterranean coast! When I woke up this morning and saw that there was a new Secrets of the Dark game, I couldn't wait to tell everyone, especially Amy, who simply adores these games.
This new addition to the franchise is called Secrets of the Dark: Mystery of the Ancestral Estate, and it's released in a collector's edition with bonus gameplay and re-playable mini-games and puzzles... interesting.
It doesn't appear to follow the stories of the last two games. We don't seem to have to rescue our clumsy friend who kept getting himself kidnapped by demons, which is somewhat of a relief, since that plotline was getting a little worn out. I was about ready to tell the demons... meh... you can have him.
No, this time, we're at an "Ancestral Estate" on the Mediterranean coast to help a friend who has inherited the place. The description doesn't say much more than that, except to let us know that her "life hangs in the balance" and that we must save her.
Who know what this ancient place has in store for us... hopefully more of the light and dark scenes that make these games so much fun!
Secrets of the Dark: Mystery of the Ancestral Estate is a Tomorrow's Game Today, so only Big Fish Club Members will be able to play it today. Everyone else will have to wait until tomorrow....
