We grew to love them in My Kingdom for the Princess. We begged for more. In My Kingdom for the Princess II, follow Sir Arthur and Princess Helen on their honeymoon to the beach by hot air balloon. Disaster strikes and their hot air balloon is ruined, so they need to help clean up the island to borrow the natives’ boat. In the process, the princess is kidnapped and Sir Arthur must rescue her. But who cares? We’re just here to play a game and the storyline only gives us a weak reason to do so. If we needed a good reason to play games, we wouldn’t be here now, would we?
Many gamers who love time management/strategy games hold My Kingdom for the Princess up as one of their favorite games and compare new games (think Roads of Rome, for one) to it. Here is a game that is as good or better than the original because it is essentially the same one as before with a few small exception, which I explain on the first page of the walkthrough.
If you loved the first game, you will love My Kingdom for the Princess. It’s a no-brainer about whether or not to buy it. If you have not been exposed to this game before, you might want to start with the first one -- not because of the storyline but because it more gently hurtles you into the challenge. This game can be fairly challenging. I imagine there are very few people that can achieve the coveted gold on every level. I know that I needed to go to a forum to read and share hints. While there, the hue and cry for a walkthrough was great. Many people only need help with a few levels and some with more.
Well, here it is--the walkthrough to get all the trophies on My Kingdom for the Princess II. Now it is not cheating to use a walkthrough with this type of game. Just because someone has suggested the build order and general direction to head doesn’t take the challenge of the game away. You still need to do it yourself. And besides, there are probably plenty of other ways to do every level even better than the walkthrough presents.
